A silver lining from February’s Empties?!

So this month I have seemed to fly on through loads of my personal favourite products!

You know what this means? Another makeup shopping trip is on the cards! I may be saying goodbye to some of my most treasured beauty products but there’s always a silver lining… and soon I’ll be wishing a warm welcome to some new beauty gems! I love going into a store absolutely clueless as to what I’m going to purchase that day. I love searching high and low for any new cheeky products I see, another favourite thing of mine to do is look for a bargain. Who doesn’t love a bargain? Now a lot of the time back home (in the UK – when I’m there), I always find amazing deals like buy 3 items for the price of 2, or buy 1 get 1 free, and I just cannot help myself the minute I see that sign! I end up buying 3 loads of my favourite foundations just to ensure that I’ll all stocked up! Seems logical right? Well, my purse sure doesn’t seem to think so buy the time I’m finished running around the store like a makeup obsessed maniac!

Anyways as I’m leaving New York City in as little as 10 days after living here for a year I feel like I owe it to myself to get into as many stores as possible, such as Sephora, Ultra Beauty, Macy’s an any other stores I see that have makeup and just go on a rampage. I cannot possibly leave the city without stocking up on some amazing products, which at home I’ll struggle to get my hands on without having to pay a ridiculous amount on shipping! So expect a lot of posts flying your way!!

Out of this months empties my favourites are most definitely the Wake me up’ concealer    in the shade – 030 Classic Beige, by Rimmel London – pricing at just £6.49. My other favourite being ‘Age Rewind’ concealer – in the shade Light, by Maybelline – pricing at £8.99. I find that both of these products have saved my life at some point or another. They have helped me rid even the darkest of circles and left me feeling confident in myself, the product is not at all tacky and actually blends so well with the majority of my foundations, which sometimes with concealers I find to be a problem. I bought these 2 beauts from a drug store in the UK called Superdrug, so they’re a whole lot cheaper than your higher end products. But don’t let that fool you, they do just as good as a job as the high end products only at half the price… sometimes even more! These little finds were both less than £10 which to me, for such a great effective concealer will do me quite nicely. Now I have to admit I probably will go out and buy a couple more of these because c’mon if you’ve tried them you know how unbelievably amazing they are and I’m not sure I’m ready to go without them, just yet. And with a combination price of the 2 being under £14 where can you possibly go wrong?
